| Armed with a backlog of songs written over the course of the last 20 years, songwriter Mike Pratt has finally got around to entering a studio - the Beehouse at Llanfyllin - to record an album. Diversity is the name of Mike's game, recording an album of sound-alikes was never the intention. "I like a wide range of styles, from pop and rock, to jazz, oldies and funk, and this is reflected in my songwriting". Few rules apply here but, according to Mike, "I try to ensure when writing a song that it has a stand-out chorus!" Mike will be previewing songs from the forthcoming album, and others, at the 2011 Workhouse Festival.
