I went into my studio, and began to write this song

But still the need for music was incredibly strong

I wanted to compose it with a melody so fine

I wanted angel voices and a chanting chorus line

Don’t want no endless rhythm, or some thumping crazy beat

Just want a lovely song with words that always sound so sweet

My girlfriend came home later to hear what I had wrote

Don’t always need a lyric full of musicality
